We did a series of firings where we downfired! Basically, we finish up the firing, close the kiln up TIGHT, and then keep feeding little sticks into the cooling kiln for another 6 hours. 

So if you see that my newer work has deep color, that is the reason!

If the water gets funky, run it through the dishwasher.
