Porcelain teapot— all of the variation is from wood firing. No glaze on the exterior!

Preheat handmade teapots with hot tap water while you put the kettle on. Then empty the teapot and fill with boiling water. This prevents shock.

The teapot filters loose leaf tea as you pour.

The teapot has one small imperfection— the spout has a tiny drying crack that is on the surface. You really have to look close to see it, and it functions perfectly. The pot has been discounted accordingly!
